Today’s Football 25/26 Season

What's the 5cm rule? I missed that. I thought if there is no obvious error you play on. Trying to find a way to disallow a goal is ridiculous.
This Wirst goal for the đź’© against Fulham was allowed because there is a 5cm discretionary rule in favour of the attacker. No one had ever heard of it until this was allowed.
I honestly am not making it up, I mean how could I.
But this cartoon frame shown on Sky was before the ball was played, the real frame shows exactly when the ball was played and he's clearly offside.

Why did the ref go to monitor. Stockley Park supposed to make the decision he's off cause they've got the technology. The naked eye couldn't tell. That's the first time I've seen an on field ref make that decision. Questions need to be asked.
Because the ref supposedly has to decide if he is interfering with play when he's got Atwell in his ear telling him what to do and say.

How can they measure 5cm when they cant measure offside without 5cm. So stupid.

Making it up as they go along now.

The word from Stockley Park is that City’s second goal was ruled out because Haaland was deemed to have been impairing the view of Malick Thiaw while standing in an offside position. That makes the decision seem even more ridiculous.

Yes but if that was the case he should have said that in his announcement to the crowd. Ie. City's no 9 was interfering with the goalkeeper. Ooh eer missus. And was in an offside position therefore my final decision is offside.
