We didn’t want to sell him and he didn’t want to go (to Newcastle). Will probably go in the summer as I can’t see him staying with us. Any deal complicated by the 20% sell on fee to Chelsea but currently a 4 way competition between Spurs, Chelsea, Man U & RS. Much will change between now and the end of the summer window but we are resigned to losing him I think.
