i think the spurs owner feels like if he sacked ange, it just gives the fans another piece of ammunition to use against him

so his response is basically 'ok you if you want ange in and don't think he's the problem then fine we will keep ange in and see what happens"

i reckon only when the spurs fanbase turns on ange will levy pull the trigger

I agree... The injury list has been Ange's saving grace for the poor results as well, and Levy would look like a tithead if he sacked him because of that.

But Levy is anything but a patient man, and his patience must be wearing paper thin by now!

He’s sacked managers for a lot less. Managers with both more success at the club and with much more success as managers overall.

How Ange is surviving is completely bizarre. Since his impressive opening spell he has been average to disgraceful.

I said this after the Everton match and after the Leicester match.

I don’t think tonight moves the needle. It was one of their better results.

I wonder if there’s some break clause in the summer or something. There’s got to be a reason why he’s still there after this comically terrible run.
Maybe having over a dozen players injured for over a couple of months has something to do with these results and Spurs position in the league, I mean they hammered us 4-0 when they had a fit first team and we should have beat them a lot heavier than the 3-2 it finished up with the injury ravaged team Spurs had out then.

The schwanzstuckers on the radio are crying about disrespecting the fa cup, how the lads picked didn't try, to much focus on the derby, benitez did the same giving up on the cup, should have been the strongest side first half - rotate at ht...

been a bit spoiled of late have the rs, now crying it in because they've slipped at mighty Plymouth.
You can only make 3 substitutes on normal time on the FA Cup...

When did they beat them 3-2?
