Didn’t he do dreadfully at Watford last year?
Personally think he did a wonderful job of getting them out of the PL and wrecked them enough that they aren’t coming back up.Didn’t he do dreadfully at Watford last year?
Nothing less than the snake-waving bells deservedPersonally think he did a wonderful job of getting them out of the PL and wrecked them enough that they aren’t coming back up.
I get binning a manager when things are going so badly that their continued presence, even without a replacement in mind, is killing morale. It doesn’t seem like that was the case with Vieira, though, and yet they’ve done it and brought back Hodgson who I absolutely refuse to believe is anybody at the club’s first choice as replacement.Definitely better off gutting out the rest of the year with Vieira and reassessing than bringing Hodgson in.

Very stinky, all of this.
I misread your post and read it asViera on top of a brassDo we know enough? Maybe Vieira and the top brass weren't tight anymore, maybe he had his own doubts about the direction of the club etc.
Then do a few months of Paddy and reassess then. The Roy experiment is pointless.Do we know enough? Maybe Vieira and the top brass weren't tight anymore, maybe he had his own doubts about the direction of the club etc.
