I mean, that’s not true. Any player who pushes a ref is getting a straight red. Unless you have evidence of them having done it and got away with it, it isn’t happening.

They get away with lots, we all know that, but shoving a ref? Nah.

Im not arguing its not a red card in the current game of pansies.

Im arguing the refs make it up as they go along. Van Dijk doesn't get a red for the same. Fernandes shoves the linesman and doesn't get anything done to him.

He got away with it because he plays for Utd. Same way Klopp can scream and harass the officials all game yet never be carded yet Silva does the same and gets a red.

Too true and it at times puts me off from even bothering. You don't see this in Rugby.

He got away with it because the disciplinary board are dopes, 99/100 he walks and gets banned, Klopp has had a retrospective ban for his behaviour as well. It’s not corruption it’s incompetence and inconsistency from the FA/Premier League’s board and PGMOL

Referees should be treated as the authority, simple as fhat.

In Rugby League, they refer to the referee as “Sir”, and that’s that.

Mitrovic pushed the referee, he should get a lengthy ban.
