The Euros and Copa America don't happen bang in the middle of the season though do they, so surely you can see why it's viewed differently? And it isn't 'racism'.

It was changed due to weather and Covid. Same way the Euros was changed. The same way the WC will interrupt everyones season next year but nobody seems to moan about that.

Many managers have moaned about AFCON over the years and its understandable as they dont want to lose thier best players but if you have that much of a problem, dont sign them.

The world cup shouldn't be held in the middle of the season and there will be issues when it happens with regards releasing players etc. But isn't there a winter break next season to cater for this?

The one that hasn't happened yet? Guarantee there'll be an issue at the time with clubs releasing players, especially if this covid carry-on, well, carries on.
Not a hope in hell the WORLD CUP doesn't go ahead.

Covid is raging through the Premier League and the UK, it cost £800m in losses when Covid first hit, yet they pushed it through with no fans and thousands dying.

The World Cup costs £14 BILLION and Qatar will make sure it happens.

By the way AFCON, Cameroon have spend around £4 billion so they'll sue the arse off players, clubs and teams.

Only one club and manager have shown disrespect to this "small tournament" and they can get to fuçk

I'm not saying it won't go ahead. I'm saying it hasn't happened yet so we can't say there are no issues with it being in the middle of the season, I'm convinced there will be.

Nothing should be held in the middle of the season but AFCON is usually held in Feb anyway, thats why managers moan about signing too many African players.

My point is they dont appear to moan as much about any other tournament. You get the sense its not taken as seriously as other competitions. If they dont like players playing in AFCON then dont sign them

They really need to line up AFCON, Copa America and the Euros all at the same time in future but this can be difficult with the climate and seasons.

Most countries leagues have some sort of a winter break though apart from the PL.

Riechsfurer Shippmann will be dancing a luvly goose-step tonight after their games off, considering all the cryarsing he's done. Trying to mess with the league cup format now as well just to suit his team, don't be surprised to see a one legged semi final now - a disgrace.

If you don't like how things are done in the UK and our football then do one.
Does this rule apply to Brits or just Foreigners?

You don't think it's pertinent that other tournaments are held off season.

The problem is "at the same time" really means "when it is convenient for the rich clubs that run the sport now" and frankly I'm done with everything being done at their convenience. I'm disappointed South America doesn't play the Copa in February too which fits better with how their continental club competitions run. Money just slowly corrupting this sport's core.
