Is it still one person who has died “with” this out of the hundreds of thousands who have got it? How many people have a cold, do we do the same for that? If the hospitalisations are in the double digits, then who cares, the beneficial thing to do would be to let it run rampant, no?? You can say “this is just football”, but at some point you have to live life. Football is a big part of my life, I get to see friends and family. I’m done giving up my life. Well as I said earlier this one is so contagious that they can either enforce strict vaccine mandates and lock people down or they can just let it go because anything else is really not going to make a dent. I get protecting hospitals but I feel like we've got to be past half measures that do nothing. Do it or don't.

As I understand it cases will multiply rapidly in the days ahead. I don’t think the closure or not of grounds will be the issue. The issue will simply be whether teams have sufficient players to get a team together
