Where have you got your evidence the games are 'super spreading the virus' from?
Is this a real question?

Barrow v Ipswich (FAC) on BBC 2 later.
Slim pickings on the Beeb these days.
I didn't say the PL can make a political decision. But they are an indepedent organisation and their clubs are companies who can do what they want with their stadiums.
Hey, not nice.
3rd time Barrow have been on the TV this season and once last season. We are now the new media darlings lol
Yet the science says outdoor events are the lowest risk. It's irresponsible to keep stadiums open with between 30k-70k in them super spreading this virus.
It needs to stop ASAP.
I just dont see how the PL avoid the glare of what they're doing - and any government worth its salt would take it out of their hands anyway. They talk about a tsunami of infections and that's because they wont do a thing to avoid it.
People going to stadiums seriously need to think about this.
They can in theory do what they like with them. But yeah, highly unlikely the PL or clubs are going to self govern on this.Ban fans from a ground? En Masse?
Good look with that.
Cheek by jowl with tens of thousands of people...that's stretching the 'safety outdoors' line a fair bit.Yet the science says outdoor events are the lowest risk.
I've said it before, no one forces you to go to matches, so why do you want to stop those who do want to go? Not very reasonable that to be honest.
Behind doors football is also not real football and should never happen again.
So?78,000 new cases of Covid reported today. Rate of infection doubling almost every day.
I think this round of matches might be the last in front of full capacity crowds...or possibly any crowds at all.

Cases lead to hospitalisation lead to severe illness and possibly death...have enough cases and the potential for the forecast worst case scenario of 75,000 deaths in the coming months becomes real. So?
I think I might put you on ignore tbf
Is this a real question?
I agree. But we're talking football here and the 2021/22 season.Yes, sick of them targeting specific areas with no evidence offered and leaving other more obvious things like schools, factories, warehouses etc open
Is it still one person who has died “with” this out of the hundreds of thousands who have got it? How many people have a cold, do we do the same for that? If the hospitalisations are in the double digits, then who cares, the beneficial thing to do would be to let it run rampant, no?? The modelling has been wrong by factors of 100 this whole time, stuff the modelling.Cases lead to hospitalisation lead to severe illness and possibly death...have enough cases and the potential for the forecast worst case scenario of 75,000 deaths in the coming months becomes real.
This is football and it's not worth it.
