Spurs and Leicester both have 9 players missing. Both clubs asked PL to postpone the match. They refused. Going to be interesting line ups later.

78,000 new cases of Covid reported today. Rate of infection doubling almost every day.
I think this round of matches might be the last in front of full capacity crowds...or possibly any crowds at all.
Leicester being denied a Covid postponement show how out of step the PL are with reality.Without full teams neither.

That wont last long.
We're heading for closed stadiums and we'll see a lot more postponed games than last season IMO.
It's irresponsible to keep stadiums open with between 30k-70k in them super spreading this virus. The PL are more arsed about TV revenue/commitments, lets face it.

It needs to stop ASAP.
I just dont see how the PL avoid the glare of what they're doing - and any government worth its salt would take it out of their hands anyway. They talk about a tsunami of infections and that's because they wont do a thing to avoid it.
People going to stadiums seriously need to think about this.
I didn't say the PL can make a political decision. But they are an indepedent organisation and their clubs are companies who can do what they want with their stadiums.PL cant make a political decision. The rules they now have to follow from tonight are imposed on them, so what can they do? Follow them, thats what.
