Fantastic side, they control games with ease and can go up and down through the gears, United again got a masterclass two games in a row at home against 2 absolute top teams with different styles, United are tragic you have to say mate.

:coffee:

City crying out for a striker, lucky to beat Leicester last week.

Crazy, they had a full year knowing Aguero wasn't staying and wasted the whole summer trying to sign the Mouth Breather instead, they should have had a list of strikers to sign.

No wonder Pep seems a bit on edge, he got a massive gaping hole in his squad and the window is shut, no one will be selling a top striker in January, so Pep has to make do with what he has upfront.

Wasted the whole summer trying to buy a Striker from a chairman who's one of the most difficult to prise players from who loves a bit of brinkmanship selling at the last minute, they could have gone early on Lakaku and Ronaldo and got him snapped up before United an Chelsea did, Lautaro Martinez and Andre Silva were available or could have even broke the bank for Haaland.

Just a bizarre situation this summer from them.

I'm counting City out of this race, doesn't seem a happy club right now and have a testing week with 3 tough games where they could end up 9 points behind and a bit of a injury crisis to boot.

Most fullbacks can't defend in this era of high line football, fullbacks are 70% attacking 30% defending, the likes of Cancelo, Hakimi , Alexander play like midfielder winger hybrids who bomb forward and come inside linking play. The days of pure defending FBs play for teams who never win anything and are from a bygone age, the game has evolved to a faster more goals more chance creation, hence the age of the attacking full back., Shows how Cafu and Carlos were ahead of their time ,they wouldn't look out of place in today's football two decades later.

Please don’t compare your drugged up fullbacks who can’t defend to two of the greatest in their position of all time, thanks.

For me their best XI has arguably the best keeper, arguably the best CB, two fullbacks who regardless of their weaknesses are perfect for the system their used in and the best attack as well as the single best player in the league right now (Salah just is at this point). The midfield is light in comparison but Klopp has spent his entire time trying to play with a functional midfield that isn't as vital. They've got a strong side. I mean they went to a United side in a similar state to what City just faced and one did a hell of a lot more damage.

Conspiracies or not they're going to take some beating if they're healthy. I just don't trust City to consistently score goals playing this false 9 stuff each week and Chelsea don't actually know who their best XI is which is both good and bad. They were horrendously unlucky today tbf.

Why is Allison better than Ederson, or Mendy? If we took recent errors Allison has far more than either of them so what makes him better apart from his media coverage? Nothing. Even the Brazil manager favours Ederson now.

Why is VVD the best centreback? What makes him better than Dias or Rudiger? Nothing apart from media hype. It’s certainly not the number of errors because he makes far more each and every game than they do. I even think Matip is better than him and your defence falls apart as soon as Matip isn’t playing.

If football is fair then one of Chelsea or City will win the league as over 38 games they have better players and better squads. Ridiculous refereeing, unbelievable injury luck, and Jurgen’s special juice will probably keep your lot close though.

My lot lmao.

Honestly I like you and think you have good points but not being able to talk about that lot in any way that isn't fully negative without the Kopite shouts is exhausting. Not to mention the ridiculousness of acting like actually no they aren't very good. Being dishonest about it doesn't make it go away.
