They obviously do. But standardizing a harsher policy toward persistent fouling and professional fouling would harm teams that are crazy pressing the most because the fouling is the safety blanket.
This is delusion we all thought Var would sort out Liverpool’s cheating. It actually aided them in there title winning season.if they changed the rules like you suggest it would affect everyone except them. The likes of Thiago and Fabinho need to make about 10 fouls before getting a yellow card as it is now.

VAR was never meant to legislate that part of the game.

The VAR process needs to be improved but I think it has shown itself to he indispensable at this point.

Do Liverpool actually cheat? They get ridiculously favourable decisions but then so do United. Think it’s just a perk of being part of the footballing establishment.

It hasn't though has it.

Football carries on perfectly happy without it, (and did so for over a century) in all but the top leagues/competitions.

It was introduced to add a bit more drama for the sensationalist broadcasters.

It wouldn't be missed if it was scrapped tomorrow

Maybe soo but should be no perks for any club. Matches should be officiated properly and on a level playing field. These clubs no that’s not the case so they play on the fact that more time than not they are going to get the rub of the green might not be cheating but it’s a unfair advantage.

If you're not really concerned with refereeing mistakes swinging matches and seasons sure. Some people disagree.

Broadcasters haven't had to change their process at all. They always talked about refereeing decisions and showed tons of replays to drum up controversy.

There will always be a subjective element to some of the decisions, even with repeated replays. In those instances the quality of the officials is the deciding factor.
Agreed. I also think a lot of really obvious screw ups get fixed and that is a positive although I'm sure people will be along to tell me it isn't shortly.

Marcos Fulham 6 up at Blackburn, I really like to see him do well.
You lads would be better off watching the championship it's better than punishing yourselves watching the money grabbers cup.
Marco might have worked out here if we properly recruited for him. He has one way of playing but it is a good way when the team is suited to it.
