He got a straight red for kicking through his opponent multiple yards away from the ball. As I said usually they let that go as yellow but if you're just kicking a player with so little intention of playing the ball isn't it just the same as kicking out at a player who doesn't have it?

It was a professional foul in the middle of the pitch. Yellow all day long. Ridiculous refereeing. You’ll never see another red given for that. Utterly ridiculous.
