Sitting down nowhere near the ball or the keeper = Interfering with play

If the consideration was for offside, VAR should then have been looking at the earlier consideration a few seconds previous of the Leeds defender pulling at the WHU attacker as he tried to get his shot away. Had the 'goal' been ruled out for offside, a penalty should be awarded for the earlier offence by the Leeds defender. But no mention of that by the commentary team...

that is the only possible explanation but even that makes no sense - I mean, he did that because Bowen had been offside

Var needs to go in the bin - if Bowen isn't offside and then interfering with okay then what's the point?!

Also, still a joke it's either all var or no var for all cup games - integrity of the competition trashed.
