If the consideration was for offside, VAR should then have been looking at the earlier consideration a few seconds previous of the Leeds defender pulling at the WHU attacker as he tried to get his shot away. Had the 'goal' been ruled out for offside, a penalty should be awarded for the earlier offence by the Leeds defender. But no mnetion of that by the commentary team...

Yes I think offside and a penalty would have been the right decision. But you can't award a goal when there is a clear offside. I'm a bit baffled by it. He literally ran into the goalkeeper, how is he not active.
