I'm not saying start them. I'm saying when I'm 1-0 and have been for 55 minutes and there are 65 minutes on the clock total I'd put someone on instead of continuing to have Mark Noble playing as the #10. It was entirely too negative and they could have gotten back in the game if Moyes went for it. He was cautious instead.
True enough, but he brought in Benrahma. Neither Yarmalenko or Snod are no 10s. You bring on Yarmo you have to take of Bowen. Snodgrass would play wide left, but that is where Benrahma is. Fact is l, their squad is pretty awful. They cannot even play their preferred formation any more just because one player is injured!

I get it the situation isn't perfect but I don't think the way he handled a game they were on top in made sense today. He takes off a holding mid and pushes and they might find that goal. As it was they didn't really threaten despite the possession.

Mark Halsey basically agreeing with Nuno that Mason and a few of the other refs at the moment are a load of sh!te basically

Refs don't have to ref anymore thanks to VAR. They can just chill knowing their mistakes will be picked up on the monitors and can be corrected. To me VAR has taken the pressure off referees being fully focused.

Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo tells BBC Sport: "Football is a physical game, a game of contact and referees taking the decisions and being fair but the referee is not good enough to whistle, Lee Mason is not good enough.

"The way he handles the game, it is about the major, crucial decisions, it is about how he handles the players, both teams are always arguing the decision. He must improve because the game requires good refereeing and good handling of the game so the players can perform.

"It is his job, he has to improve, he has to get better. When we saw the nomination, we did not understand it because he is a point of distraction. He worsens the flow of the game."

As a follow up:

Makes me laugh this. "Asked to explain" his remarks by the FA, like he's some naughty schoolboy. They still run it like it's the 1800s.

Free speech is not allowed in English football.

Worst era of referrering in my lifetime led by one of the worst Refs of all time in Mike Riley who runs PGMOL, is it any wonder Manager's and fans are livid by the idiot Refs, last World Cup was the first time ever a Referee from England wasn't picked, Mike Riley defence of that was baffling with a litteny of excuses.
