Well he's getting nothing out of a game where they had the better of play for a solid 40 minutes or so but didn't really create a concrete opportunity and for me this may not have been the case if he played Manuel Lanzini at #10, who by the way can probably follow Jorginho around, instead of Noble.

I just can't construe 80 minutes of Noble, Rice and Soucek as positive in any way.
Probably not, otherwise he would have played

Kind of my whole point though. A choice between a slightly less secure option that could open up the other team or a less attacking option that could make you more secure and Moyes always picks security. That's what I mean when I say he's a negative manager. He won't take that chance even if it isn't really a big risk.

The majority of managers don’t, they play the players they trust do a job.

shock horror

I don’t know how Leeds fans think about it but I imagine they’re not viewing that match in isolation. They won their previous game 5-2. They’re squad is a lower mid table one at best. They could’ve played like a Tony Pulis team with lower goal margins and no one would be complaining about them.
That's a fair point and viewing the team in the context of largely Championship level individuals (which it probably is) then fair enough.

That's not even true though! He took off Keita for Minamino at halftime.

And what?? They still played the same formation, and guess what.....it didn’t work so your point about changing is totally irrelevant

Secondly, West Ham didn’t play with 3 DM today, they played 2

anyway I’m bored of teaching you about footy. So I’m relieving you to go back and google more stuff

Well I've never been talking about the formation. If Everton went out in the weekend and played Davies and Delph up top I wouldn't say they played two strikers. And Mark Noble at #10 doesn't mean you've played an attacking midfielder.

Getting pushback on saying Moyes is an unnecessarily negative manager is another one for the file of things I wouldn't have expected to be divisive.

Didn't realise Sander Berge got injured for Sheffield United against United. And then Lundstram got a red the other day.

I haven't seen a second of them this season but I believe Berge is their best player and Lundstram's a starter. Probably bodes well for the weekend.

Likely means we’re up against a 50 year old Jagielka so as much as I love the guy yeah it’s a good thing!
