Maybe I'm too naive but I think consistently negative management like what Moyes, Dyche and Bruce deploy is never really necessary even with the less talented team.

Except there's been many cases where it has been proven to be the prudent approach to get teams punching above their weight. Moyes everton era and success was built on it.

I'm not saying everyone should be Leeds, in fact I'm not sure anyone should do what Leeds are, but you've got Saints playing very decent football at the minute with a pretty average team talent wise. Leicester and we also play decent enough stuff and our teams aren't in the top 5 most talented. It can be done.

I just strongly disagree that the teams with the least talent can only survive playing poor anti-football.
