Look nothing like a title winning side. There for them to go and win it and they don´t look like they´ll go close.

As someone said above, best players have left and they haven´t been replaced by any quality.

A lot of their best players, likes of Kompany, Aguero, Silva, Sterling, De Bruyne, - Guardiola didn’t buy them. So when he had to replace quality with quality, Pep never could.

Id argue that.
The fella came in and had the team built for him.
Fernandinho sweeping up, Kompany the central rock, Aguero and deBruyne just being brilliant. With his tactics they stumbled through the first year and then got going, but he’s lost his hunger for me.

His signings like Gundogan, Mendy, Cancelo, Stones, Zinchenko, Rodri, Jesus have all been a bit garbage haven’t they?

His flat out refusal to sign a striker and a centre half when they knew Kompany was cooked and Aguero is nearly there himself, is just mental for me.

Klopp needed a centre half, signed Klopp. Klopp needed someone to help the front 3, signed Jota.
Guardiola signed Ake. I’m assuming he’s not the one in charge of transfers so clearly City are doing something wrong, because whatever that team is, deBruyne just can’t carry it anymore.

I see that Rodri in particular and don´t have a clue what Guardiola sees in him. I don´t think the Premier League is a place for a defensive midfielder whose best attribute is slowing the play down and retaining possession.

It´s got to the point now where I expect City to drop points in every away game they play now. Compare that to 18 months ago when they barely dropped a point all season.

City really miss having a David Silva type out there.

I dont think its that straight forward. The look tired, fed-up and a bit lost. Even in going 1-0 there was no real celebration. I think last season hit them hard, particularly the game against Lyon in the CL.

Can you imagine the impact off the bench a Giroud / Dzeko / Drogba / DCL striker would have on the squad. Pep too stubborn for it

Well I look at the brilliant city players they have had in the last 10 years....

David Silva, Kompany, Sane, Fernandinho and Aguero (both ageing), they’ve just not replaced them.
That creativity in Silva is gone, the Leader in Kompany is gone, Aguero deadliness is basically gone. There’s just no “Wow” factor for me.

We’ve got city next week, and normally m fearing them, now? I’m thinking it’s a game we can take points from.

Ake, Stones etc... they’re never, ever signing for Barça so why would he sign them for City in a more competitive league?

It's the worst quality PL I think for years. Even when United were running on fumes and just about running up enough points to win it in SAF's last season there was better quality teams.
