Is this not what people wanted, a closer league though, so called worst Quality or not, people were moaning when it was a 1 team league or 2 team league saying the same type of stuff, think the league like this is great as long as we are not by the bottom of the pile if many teams have similar points

It's the worst quality PL I think for years. Even when United were running on fumes and just about running up enough points to win it in SAF's last season there was better quality teams.

Oh it’s absolutely disgraceful, but so is the majority of football at the moment, we’ve been spoilt with fantastic players for 15-20 years in world football and in the Premier League.

The premier leagues big problem is that it has so much money, so that the prices for dross increase. Brewster for £24m is the absolutely statement signing of the season to suggest that the value for money in the league is absolutely destroyed.

Id argue that.
The fella came in and had the team built for him.
Fernandinho sweeping up, Kompany the central rock, Aguero and deBruyne just being brilliant. With his tactics they stumbled through the first year and then got going, but he’s lost his hunger for me.

His signings like Gundogan, Mendy, Cancelo, Stones, Zinchenko, Rodri, Jesus have all been a bit garbage haven’t they?

His flat out refusal to sign a striker and a centre half when they knew Kompany was cooked and Aguero is nearly there himself, is just mental for me.

Klopp needed a centre half, signed Klopp. Klopp needed someone to help the front 3, signed Jota.
Guardiola signed Ake. I’m assuming he’s not the one in charge of transfers so clearly City are doing something wrong, because whatever that team is, deBruyne just can’t carry it anymore.

They could buy anyone in the world if they wanted. That’s what they used to do when they brought in Aguero Silva Tevez Sterling genuine stars. Even Dzeko Fernandinho Sane De Bruyne were all in demand across Europe at the time. Now Pep seems to revel in buying players no one has heard of to show how clever he is. Klopp just goes out and splurges a world record fee on the most obvious targets imaginable to improve the team.

City have lost some of the greatest players in their history in Kompany Toure Silva and will soon lose Fernandinho and Aguero, pep is replacing them with Nathan Ake, Gundogan, and Ferran Torres. Just nowhere near good enough. I don’t think they even have a top squad any more. They have De Bruyne Sterling and Aguero who are top of the tree and the rest are just good. Nowhere near where they used to be.

Pap doesnt buy the players at City.

Fergie’s final team with RVP and Rooney upfront would be waltzing this league. It’s a shambles and a bit of kick and rush footie and some favourable penalties will see a rancid Liverpool over the line.

Whoever does the signing is absolutely needing A sacking. Agree. Completely underwhelming signings.
That’s for sure, in the mean time, in a season of unexpected a point tomorrow takes us back above them.

Im very much enjoying the lack of consistency, if I can’t really enjoy games due to VAR.

I dont think its that straight forward. The look tired, fed-up and a bit lost. Even in going 1-0 there was no real celebration. I think last season hit them hard, particularly the game against Lyon in the CL.
Not a cure all, but he picked the lock like few could. So many times was able to play someone in who would cross for a simple tap in. They’re not scoring those easy goals anymore.

So basically we're down to hoping Spurs can put 90 points on the table in order to avoid that lot winning the PL.

I don't see why you'd think that.

League winning pace right now is 80. I see nothing that tells me that one of these teams will eventually separate. Spurs draw too much for a team with that goal differential, probably because Mourinho. Liverpool, like much of the top half, concedes too often. City doesn't score enough.

If City's problem is Guardiola, he's likely to blunder into an answer eventually. If it's their talent, which I tend to think, then they'll probably continue to struggle.

As for concessions, Leicester and Southampton are probably as likely to figure it out as "they" are. The title race is wide open, and it will be interesting to see how much money gets tossed around in January in search of a difference-maker.
