Serie A has always been like that. Lucas Leiva is genuinely great for Lazio. That isn't a new phenomenon.

It wouldn't shock me if they lifted the Scudetto.
I haven't followed Italian football as closely since it moved to Premier Sports over here (Serie A YouTube channel is quite good, to be fair), but I can't see this Inter team going out and winning title-deciding games.

It's not the most exciting prediction, but I'd expect Juventus to be back on top before European competition resumes.

Serie A is a very tactical league and Juve are riding a manager who is shall we say inexperienced at that sort of thing. They aren't the favorites they once were.

I still think that their individual talent will get them over the line in the end, but then as I said earlier, I don't know nearly as much about that league as I used to.

I would have liked Atalanta to be the ones to take advantage in the event of Juventus finally slipping, but their results are all over the place.

The last two years were Atalanta's chances and they couldn't quite get there. I can't see them finding the magic again.

Champions league is so predictable now

Even 5 years ago you would get teams from Greece, Russia, Ukraine in the knockout rounds but now it is pretty much always the Usual suspects

4 group stage spots for the top leagues is stupid

Expect it to go up in the coming years. My guess is we aren't too far away from a system that let's all of the PL "big 6" into the CL.
