It didn't taste eggy & it was smoother than normal toast, had a greasy sort of feel to it but the receptor that kicked in most was the sweet 1

deffo eggy bread/french toast even nicer if you use a brioche

To make good French Toast you don't just soak it in egg.

You want a single egg, a cup of milk and a tablespoon of sugar and a teaspoin of salt and a couple of tablespoons of flour.....whisk together then add a tsp of vanilla. Soak some decent sandwich bread cook, then slather in REAL maple syrup.

Perfection.

This without doubt is the best way to enjoy toast. Jam on toast next, but I do like a fried slice with a full English once in a while.
