To Boo or not to boo...?

Yeah sorry I was generalising on that point but what i'm trying to say is that it's hypocritical of us to try take the upper moral ground when other fans call him the elephant man and now call him that once it suits us.

I don't know if you directing it at me, I haven't called him any names like the "Elephant man" other than in a jokingly manner like with Ken in the other thread. Booing him has got nothing to do with the fact he's ugly

I cannot believe some of the asinine comments on here.

The fans should get behind Lescott as they should with all the players. He has to be made to feel wanted and he does by me.

Hmm...you're the type of fan that would still cheer Barton if he signed for Everton arent you...

We made Lescott feel wanted against Malaga and he completely ignored us, not one single clap to the fans, he couldnt care less about feeling wanted, he just cares about his pay check.

No Dom I would not welcome Barton. But over this biz I would not turn my back on an Everton player which he still is.

Ones like Barmby and Rooney were different.

Not quite. It is deeper than that. I recall when Tony Kay had to leave. There were many who made snide comments about him. I did not, I was sad to see him go, a great player.

I'm going Saturday and tbh I've got mixed feelings on this.

Firstly, I see where he's coming with. Lescott isn't a Everton fan, and I won't hate him as I did with Wayne, it was always going to happen.

But he has shown no respect, our fans showed him the love the faithful still has for him, and he completed ignored it and to add insult to injury he handed a transfer request in a DAY later.

Until he leaves to City, I will boo him. I don't want him here, anyone who wants to go to a team with money is not worth hanging on to. When he joined us, he was a nobody. We can easily replace Lescott.

City will not end up in the top 6 this season, all their players are greedy ****s, especially Adebouer.

Ive been shot . My left arm is always in pain can I have 90,000 a week please ?

Never happen at Everton that
There have been instances when fans have booed at specific players in the team, but it is very rare. Nyarko comes to mind though.

I don't think I'd cheer at Lescott like the fans did against Malaga, but I wouldn't boo at him either, unless he shows his a bigger tw*t and plays below his standard just to get out and get his ridiculous paycheck at ManC.

I am not going to say anything tomorrow . Mainly because I dont want to make a tool out of myself because I have to sit in that seat all season with my mate and I dont want anyone hating us straight away !

It really is pointless . For one Moyes will be cringing . After all he will probably tell him that " Just listen to supporters against Malaga Joleon , they love you here , go out there and show them you are committed " then he runs out and .......well you can guess the rest .

We are better neither cheering or booing and then awaiting his reaction . I really really hope people chillout and dont get carried away .

I don't think he will get booed to be honest. Moyes has been saying all the right things and he is like the old school master cracking the cane. Joleon is a naughty boy and Mark Hughes is just a spoilt brat.
