Time

So even though time has physically visibly changed, it's only a matter of distance? You'd say an attribute of time doesn't come into the equation?

I clearly haven't got a clue. We'll obviously never get to the answer, just interesting to see opinions.

It clearly does but its based on the speed against the distance to get the time variable! Rate of Speed + Distance = time variable! x+y=0.

If say the earth exploded and you were reverseing in a space ship away form it would you eventually see it come back together?

Yes (y)

This bit was really interesting.. never thought of it that way..
So say your in a space ship cruising at the speed of light but some how able to maintain a clear visual of earth, you would have a front row seat to the evolution of earth.. Nice thread..

I know! We did it in maths! Speed = Distance %(divided by, i have no division symbol :/) Time

A woman doing math?

A WITCH!!!

If I recall from the early days of my quantum physics course that Gravity has an effect on time...For example if you were to synchronise 2 clocks and then take one of them to the top of a mountain (away from the source of gravity) then that clock would run faster..

Thats it though...don't expect anymore from me.

Nah!

You would have to be traveling faster then the speed of light a huge distance.

Of course, I wasn't talking about reversing a T reg punto :P

Your not manipulating real time, just speed and distance.

Thats the question. I personally think time can be manipulated. Not solely because of the example given, but because of all I've read on time. One being the likes of;

If time can be manipulated, one day someone will work out how to do it properly and that’s a scary thought!
