Time to recall Jutkiewicz

He clearly has no future at Everton. Whoever it was who signed him, whether it was the youth academy or Moyes himself, made an error of judgement.

Moyes had the opportunity to play him last season when we had no stikers but chose not to... If you cant get in a team when all the other players in your position are injured then its time to call it a day.

We also had a stinker with Scott Spencer. He's another one who doesnt look like he's going to make it.

Left during the summer im almost certain mate.

Have to say it was really refreshing reading his comments above - Saying Moyes is "astute" and how he "hasnt kicked on" - beats the usual i wasnt given a chance to show what i can do, ill prove him wrong, bad mouthing drivle you hear.

Hope he has a good career and can make a decent living.

Horrible comparison. Scott Spencer was signed for a really small amount because he was quick off the mark & we had a drastic shortage of forwards in the youth teams. He was there so that the rest of the players had a natural forward in the team, if he made it: great, if he didn't: oh well, at least the other youngsters had a balanced team to try to learn their trade in. As Neiler said he was released in the summer but it was obvious he was going to be because I've seen a lot of forwards for the reserves & I don't think I saw him get off the bench once.

Lukas was completely different, he was a young player signed for a decent fee (think it was £500k), with a real hope of him pushing on & making it. This loan deal will make or break him, if he proves he can do the business in Scotland he'll either come back full of confidence & try to earn himself a regular in the 1st team or be enjoying it too much to want to leave & will earn himself a transfer. If he doesn't do well he'll come back, probably spend a couple of years at a lower level (reserves/ loans to lower divisions) & then try to work his way up over the next couple of years.

I haven't seen him recently but when I have seen him he's looked talented but still raw & I'm not sure whether he's ready for 1st team action yet. This loan move will give a great indication either way.

Just because moyes spend 1m for him means he must be special? Crap logic. Kroldrup, VDM, BT, Simon davies.
If he's good enough he will start for us week in week out, isn't it obvious enough?

I remember watching the kid lead the line with Swindon, he impressed me but he has never lived up to that expectation. If I hadn't had been enjoying the Pompey game earlier on I'd have tuned into to see his performance against Gers today..........missed it unfortunately. As you say Bruce scoring in Scotland is not a great achievement these days afterall Samaras, Danny C and one ot two others have found success there, Danny C couldn't get a game in Championship Two last season. I suspect he'll remain with Wells for a nominal sum

I hope we can recoup our outlay wasnt it something like 1mill.

Didnt the juke box have a chronic fatiuqe thing.

It was a million pounds, we'll be lucky to get a quarter of that back, remember him being nicknamed Skywalker by Blair, a typical Blairism you could say
