2025/26 Tim Iroegbunam

It feels a bit like we still talk about him as if he’s 18 or whatever and having a half decent game where he does a couple of good things is a big bonus and enough for us to be pleased with. He's nearly 23 and been around for a good while now, he needs to do better if he’s going to get regular games.

Same old with Tim, does the hard stuff well, the easy stuff is harder.

I think there's a player in there, he has that ability to pick the ball up and carry it, which most of our players are incapable of.

Moyes needs to get him working on his end product be that shooting or passing because its what lets him down and reallt stops him pushing pn to become a permanent fixture in the XI.

Only watched the first half. Thought he looked good.

A good coach could make a decent 6 out of him.

Yes he's not 18, but he is still 23. Ten years ago he'd still be considered young for the premier league.

One of the best young midfielders in the world for winning the ball and carrying it through the pitch.

Has huge potential. Needs to start every game.

A lot of his sloppy passes were the fault of the players receiving them. Gana especially constantly flat footed when Tim wanted to play quickly.
Agree with this. I think he played two passes in particular that were fine but KDH and Garner were completely on their heels and made them look bad.

Needs to play in a three with KDH and Garner with Rohl/Armstrong coming on from the bench. Gana needs to be benched permanently. His passing, shooting and crossing have always been mediocre but his saving grace was his legs. They have gone now so he offers nothing. Given how defensive our fullbacks are we always need to play two of Ndiaye, George and Dibling. It's impossible to create chances if our only attacking threat is Ndiaye. Keane and Tawks are far too slow to play together. If they are both anywhere near the half way line we always liable to be caught on the break because they are painfully slow.
