Me too although there were two instances where he had simple passes to set up goalscoring opportunities. He held on to it both times then lost it. Decision making needs vast improvement

83rd minute was when we went to 10. He was tired before that. The instances I'm talking about were way before that and the only excuse was his poor decision making. I thought he had a decent game in the main.

He’s showing real promise. Don’t want to go overboard with any Viera comparisons, but he’s 22yo, he’s on the right track.

Indeed, I think the issue is what type of midfielder he wants to be...

Was MOM for me. Obviously we are short of options, but the balance of that midfield 3 wasn’t really right. Shame as they are 3 decent players.

I had him as my MotM , but so many poor bits in there too . There is a big onus on our coaching staff to work with him to take his game up to the next level.

I like him a lot.

I'd prefer for Saturday that he just focussed on dominating CM and protecting our back four than marauding upfield. If those breaks of his break down then we're in trouble from there.

Get him stopped in CM and put Xhaka out of influencing the game. If he did that I'd be confident of getting a result.

Our teamsheet says 3 in the middle, but 2 of them are always sucked out to sides to cover the cracks that it opens up our strongest area.

Seems to win the challenges he has no right to win, and then lose one he absolutely should be winning. But I like him, he’s positive and aggressive.
