2025/26 Tim Iroegbunam

Really impressed with a couple of his performances recently, and equally dismayed with one or two others. That said, hopefully experience and time will iron all that out. He was a driving force getting us up the pitch and winning the ball yesterday but I did feel he fell off as the second half wore on but that's also fair as the whole team collapsed

Just don't see it at all, a premier league team with Tim Iroegbunam playing is always going to be struggling at the wrong end, doesn't do enough for me.

If we put him up for sale would there be many takers from the top half teams?

I agree, he won the ball back a lot and looked exciting going forward. Just a few poor decisions and fell away second half.

I think we need a proper number 6 who can protect to the 2 centre backs and dictate Play from deep. So that leaves maybe 2 box to box midfielders, if we don’t play a 10, one will be KDH. Then you have Tim, garner, rhol and Armstrong. So nobody is a shoe in moving forward

That's down to the manager to tell him to be more positionally aware and keep his discipline.

He has a lot of talent. Just needs it channelled correctly.

Gueye will be right back in as soon as AFCON is over.

Really like how quickly he wins the ball back. Would love to see him working in training on his shooting as he has created some excellent opportunities for himself on the edge of the box but clearly his finishing is a work in progress. I genuinely think if we see him scoring a few from those positions he will be talked about even more favourably.

Been banging his drum for a good few months now.

Still maintain hes raw enough you could mould him to play any role in the centre of midfield.

One thing that really does stand out though, is his decision making. Always, always, always makes the wrong decision, be it not getting pass off on time, running in to trouble.

If he fixes that, then we've got a player who can at least he a squad player.

Long way to go, but we definitely got the better deal of the Dobbin swap.

This talented lad who's 22 years old and showing bags of potential is being slagged off by people some of whom probably think the 24 year old proven duffer Patterson deserves a starting spot.

I think he'd work as a 6 if we get full backs that can play football. Right now he skips a man and has no option which result in him trying to shoot or beat another man. If we have more width, there'd be an out ball. I like the lad and think him deep with 2 of Garner, KDH and Armstrong in front as a "3" would work nicely.

No not for me, his game is all about running and pressing. He’s not technically good enough to sit as a 6 imo
