Poor shout this.
Not necessarily.

Garner has done well since coming back in and Moyes is likely to get far more out of him than Dyche did. But he has some big flaws in his game that I have seen since he's joined which include - his inability to be able to cross a ball on a set piece, a tendency to play like a crab all last season giving us very little going forward, barely any goals or assists and also not had the best injury record. He played a world class through ball once and some of our fans are acting like he's done it regularly and is the new James Rodrigues with his passing ability.

Just my own early opinion but I've seen enough from Iroegbunam to make me think he will become our most important midfielder in the coming years.

For now, there should be 4 players fighting for 3 spots in the midfield - Gana, Garner, Iroegbunam and Alcaraz. Doucoure should be on the bench.

Good cameo from him again.

He's just nice and tidy with the ball, wasn't a big fan of him having that wild shot but he just gives us something a bit different in terms of ball retention and carrying when he's on the pitch.

Then got the important flick on for the goal.

I reckon he needs to see and then feel the role, he's a bit out of sorts,.
Maybe Moyes, will try something with him in mind against Palace.
But will probably opt for Charly instead.
Be a close call.

I like Tim. As for Doucs, bye Felicia (don't make me regret this next week Tim). He is tall, strong and crafty with his feet. With so many bodies out, he or Garner should be tested at the 10

I think he looks good at times, he’s still young, but he had a shot today from about 20 yards that was 6ft over the bar. I do wonder how professional footballers miss by that much! It’s not just him that does this, but I do find it baffling.
Anyway, with Doucs and Ndiaye missing he could be in contention to come in, as we are away at palace the manager may want someone defensive minded to replace Doucoure, press palace and pack the midfield

I think he has helped us a lot with that energy off the bench last few games...harrison and alcaraz too. With Doucs and Ndiaye out we will massively miss that change in energy in the last 20/15...Big three games to navigate now before international break and hopefully we get a couple back.

It's because the speed and intensity of premier league football is absolutely unimaginable to us. Put these players on a Sunday league pitch and they score from 30 yards virtually every time but in the prem. They know they have to hit it very hard to beat a premier league keeper from that distance and they generally have no time to completely set themselves before they shoot so they are often slightly off balance or rushing the shot.

'kin light balls these days! That's why they're pinging it around 50 even 70-80yds to each others feet sometimes and keepers all think their Franco Baresi.

Given the point in the last comment above (which is spot on), players lashing at the ball under pressure look daft. An old heavier ball would lift and fly less.

He was never set for the shot, it was a really poor decision to take it on. To be honest I thought he was quite poor when he came on but the touch for the goal was all important so who cares.
