It's been around since 1987.

Nev finished 5th in 1987, 9th in 1989, and 4th in 1991.

Martyn finished 14th (for Leeds) in 2001.

Howard has finished 8th in 2003 (before us), 9th in 2009, and 10th in 2010.

I see goalkeepers catch balls, make saves, and others star jump and flap, footy's played on the park.

To entertain your awards thing though, there's a million variables which makes it impossible to use that as a comparison, the quality of the opposition, the other goalkeepers competing with, the players in front of the goalkeeper etc etc. Absolutely meaningless.

It's like comparing Greece and Germany because they both won a Euro championship.
