That header is the very basic of headers. Its comical how a pro can completely miss that header when unchallenged. Barkley should not be picking up anybody in the box on set pieces.

Your clueless if you don't think Howard should just catch/punch it and take everything else in front of him while doing so! It was in his 6 yard box ffs! Was so basic. Bet if you asked any pro goalkeeper or ex pro they would be saying he should be coming for that. You seem to think that no one is saying that Barkley has any blame at all! Of course he does and everyone else is saying that but Howard should deal with the situation first. If he can deal with something that is so easy then he has to take more blame. It's embarrassing that you can't just see something so simple to be honest.

On average he keeps a clean sheet every 3 games for Everton.

Southall who is far and away one of the greatest goalkeepers in football and the greatest ever goalkeeper for Everton kept a clean sheet every 2.7 games.

I've been a critic of howard because his form last season was not good enough for everton.but the goal in the derby was barkleys fault. He stayed on his line because it seemed obvious it was about to be headed away.sadly he was wrong
