Agree mate, he is still young enough to become a decent keeper, just needs game time same as any keeper.

Agree mate, the thing is even if he lets in a load against City ( if he plays ) how can do we judge him, as he hasn't played since the Norwich game. Even the best keepers in the world need regular game time.

The fact that few of us rate robles either shouldn't even come into it anymore. He's younger, has a better attitude, better distribution, and quite simply can't be any worse.

Yup. Impossibly difficult to come on every now and then and show any kind of form.

We'd only know over a prolonged spell in the team. Which probably won't ever happen.

I don't believe Robles is the long term answer but I think he is better than Howard. We need to take a chance on him. He might be good, we know Howard isn't.

Another factor is will any goalkeeper of note come to the club whilst Howard is still here. He'll never get game time

If I was a decent keeper I would fancy ousting Howard within a couple of months tbh. He either doesn't rate Robles or for some weird reason he just continues tp choose experience over being a quality keeper and refuses to budge on that matter.

Robles has been the biz in the League Cup but is ignored for the league games.

Yet when he played last saeson he did really well. Surely the lad deserves a chance?

Have a read of this and search for a very disturbuing fact regarding Howard this season.
