Understand your thinking ,but if he is good enough he goes in. Failure to play him against spurs just goes to show what some people feel on this thread that the lad is not better than howard.

For a split-second I wondered if he might save Joselu's volley, but then I turned my head and realised he was having a lie down.

I cant see why people are getting on the back of Tim Howard. Hes a cracking goalkeeper who always helps us towards three points when we play. Happy new year. Mark Hughes

Yeah, as much as it makes me laugh, it's another reason why he should be gone in January.

He's had his time, and now he needs to move on. Everton have an awful habit of letting these self-styled club legends hang around well past their sell by dates.

Surely there's been more? The individual errors are similarly endless,

Stoke the other night
