Tim Howard

If I was a decent keeper I would fancy ousting Howard within a couple of months tbh. He either doesn't rate Robles or for some weird reason he just continues tp choose experience over being a quality keeper and refuses to budge on that matter.
I think if we had signed Butland he would be out of the team like Butland in the DM years, and RM has just carried the theme on - he's my no 1 etc why would any Keeper come when Robles has to sit on the bench and watch joke goalkeeping performances!

We'd be top if we had a quality keeper. Being super-critical, his errors have cost us 13 points.

Watford - would expect a good shot stopper to save the second (2)
City - Kolorovs is useless, but Nasri's looks worse than it was, let him off with that one
Liverpool - has to claim the corner for Ings goal (2)
Arsenal - you know the rest (2)
Bournemouth - should really be better positioned for their equalizer (2)
Palace - header right down the middle (2)
Leciester - laughable decision to foul Vardy (1)
Stoke - two terrible goals to concede, the Shaqiri cross-shot and the third (2)

That's not to say it's totally his fault, and the defence haven't helped AND we've missed chances in games which would have papered over Howard, but he should be the last resort and he's been useless.

Keepers will always make errors, and maybe he shouldn't be at fault for some of these, but I can't (besides Newcastle) remember a save that's kept us in a game.

Tottenham, Swansea, West Ham. Also he had a really good save on Holebas against Watford; made really good saves against Silva, Aguero, and Sterling before the Kolarov goal; and had to make 6 saves against Bournemouth, which is the reason we didn't actually end up losing that match after our terrible second half performance.

Lets keep him then and give him a rise

All saves he should make, and definitely nowhere to be found for second two bournemouth goals so not having that. Quoting city as a good game too? Are you serious. We were right in it till he got beat schoolboy-like from the byline at the near post.

He saves nothing that would be out of the ordinary, and cocks up regularly when it should be routine.

The difference between him and Mignolet is, that as bad as some of Mignolet's gaffes are, he pulls off the odd saves that make you go "wow" and wins them points. He did it against us, made an outstanding save from a Naismith header at 0-0. When has Howard done that? Has he ever pulled off an extraordinary save at a crucial point in a game? If he has then I'd like someone to refresh my memory, in the past 4 years anyway

When you say really good, I remember most of those saves, and any keeper should make them. A really good save is similar to De Gea and Courtois the other day.

Southampton last season 1-0 home win pulled off an absolute blinder, the type you go "wow that's a blinder of a save".

Might have to go back a while before that though to remember another one lol

No chance, I'm not having that one. The one where Pelle shinned it towards goal at approximately 1/2 a mile per hour and his positioning was that bad that he had to twist and contort his body backwards to claw it out when he could have just stood on his line and caught it with his eyes closed? No chance mate

On a replay it looks like that and regardless of where his positioning was in real time it was a quality save.

Don't be mean either ffs let's at least give him one worldy a millennium! ;)
