I'll sort the lot of them with you DD if T Bone keeps pulling clean sheets out of his American locker
Yes Doug it's all your fault on this thread with his three poster fan club!lol
I posted before the game I wanted an Everton win, and hoped Tim would get some praise - I have been made up with the win and Tims regimental but very good outstanding save - which I have praised thought he looked more aware yesterday in his six yard box at least!
Also the glare on Shearers face on MOTD for Newcastles failure to miss chances was a joy to see!
We won in the last ten seconds even better!;)

Me too. Not cos he was brilliant all match like their goalie, but cos he did that ace save near the end. Set up the 3 points that. Sort of.
It was ironical all the good saves their goalie made , and he did that pathetic punch, but watching in it Cleverley wrenched his neck in position to aim it into the space it was a very good headed goal from distance - if they had the common sense to have a player on the line for that corner it may have been hard lines as it was stuff the Geordies bar codes!lol

Yourself and a few others are very even with the criticism Macca it's the hardcore haters that bang on about him every time the opposition score that need putting right.
Your continued support for him is truly admirable. For what it's worth, I mostly agree with you. Every team needs a scapegoat it seems. I do think he needs replacing though (not Robles). what you reckon?

You can't be too harsh on Howard. He has scored more than Hibbo has, so that's something.
Jokes aside, he did well against Newcastle. A well earned clean sheet.

My arse still drops everytime a ball is launched into our box, see other keepers claim a majority of those but Howard just doesn't have the confidence anymore. Still a great shot stopper mind.

Howard did nothing special yesterday.

The definition of a good save is you not minding if the goal went in. Had that header gone past Howard we'd have been rightly fuming. The fact he did his pantomime theatrics didn't make it anything other than a routine save.

Howard needs replacing. Simple as that in my book. You've only to have watched other games yesterday to see what a decent keeper can achieve.

Spot on, it was a save any goalkeeper should make.

As I've always said Jim I expect the summer of 2016 to be the year we bring in Howard's successor, his time as our number 1 is coming to an end. Since he came he's been amongst the best in the league but a change is coming and needed for this team to develop.

Amongst the best in the league
WOW
I think if that was the case he would have moved to a champions league team after a few years
Or maybe stayed at Man Utd
But that Ferguson was a clueless manager

If Moyes was a winner his last game would have been the 2009 final
To let that left footed lampard strike from
25 yards go through his hands was shocking
He's been a brilliant keeper up until the last 18 months apparently

Steve the clubs in the champions league all had equally good keepers or above why would they try and buy another keeper?

Holding onto one game 7 years ago makes you look a very bitter person, you really need to move on fella.

By the way have you thought about formatting your posts better? Besides your thoughts being very hit and miss your post are all over he place.

I will post how I want if you don't like it tough
As for my thoughts being hit and miss
Explain?
My thoughts about Howard haven't changed since I've been on here he's garbage. And I could pick out plenty of games over the years but I would be here till 7am
If I listed them all

But I will add another just for you
2012 cup semi carrols winner
The one time he should have stayed on his line and came out stopped on his 6yrd line and the ball floated over his head

By the way after seaman left arsenal they went through quite a few keepers looks like wenger missed a trick
And at Utd the same but Ferguson seen to prefer Roy Carroll to one of the leagues best

Have you ever thought of taking up football management or coaching Dougie? As you seem to have a real eye for talent
