Tim Howard is capable of making very good saves, that was one of them. Unfortunately his quota of gaffs had gone up a notch or two in the last 18 months.

I remember last season some whopper admitted he had no chance of saving an unstoppable shot but then went on to say if it had been a different shot he'd have been out of position!
