Good job their was no Newcastle player there as he dropped the ball from a simple cross!Seems a bit harsh to say he dropped the cross. He went through the attacker (like everyone says he doesn't do enough), knocked the ball away from the attacker, and then grabbed it on the bounce. There was never any danger of it falling to a Newcastle player.
Howard done quite well today. It's clear that a big dominant keeper and a big dominant CB alongside Stones makes us a formidable team.
Agreed. If we had Scott Dann and Butland this year we'd be top 3 now easy, NEA.
lol @ Dann
He's a good player and more of a leader than anybody we've got. Criminally underrated and had we got him in the summer he'd have certainly improved us.
Mori was so good today dont shoot me down we look better defensively with Galloway at leftback! He's a good player and more of a leader than anybody we've got. Criminally underrated and had we got him in the summer he'd have certainly improved us.
Dann would have never come anyway just signed a new contract when we were rumoured to be in for him, I do not class Jags as commanding in the air he is a great reader of the game in defending, but lacks height in aerial duels - very experienced though Mori has done a good job for us today in the first 20 minutes his passing from the back was brilliant , but as always we do not score !He would have started over Jagielka?
He would have started over Jagielka?
Shock horror a goalkeeper makes a good save and we don't drop points. Meanwhile Newcastles 2nd choice GK pulls off 2-3 good saves.
