Tim Howard

Howard done quite well today. It's clear that a big dominant keeper and a big dominant CB alongside Stones makes us a formidable team.

Seems a bit harsh to say he dropped the cross. He went through the attacker (like everyone says he doesn't do enough), knocked the ball away from the attacker, and then grabbed it on the bounce. There was never any danger of it falling to a Newcastle player.
Good job their was no Newcastle player there as he dropped the ball from a simple cross!
He had one save to make , and he made a brilliant save if that had gone in we would have got beat today , but that's the job he is supposed to do as Doug says when robles has a good game my granny could have saved that, Joking apart Tim did ok today we still look dodgy on crosses how did they miss that unchallenged header it should have been in all the endeavour of tappy tap football - they were more direct and nearly robbed us!
I thought Mori had a great game at the back today along with Coleman - Stones has to work on winning headers its his one weak point the rest of his game is brilliant!

He's a good player and more of a leader than anybody we've got. Criminally underrated and had we got him in the summer he'd have certainly improved us.
Mori was so good today dont shoot me down we look better defensively with Galloway at leftback!
Extra height , and he at the moment is faster than baines who imo is still not match fit, and takes lousy corners!

He would have started over Jagielka?
Dann would have never come anyway just signed a new contract when we were rumoured to be in for him, I do not class Jags as commanding in the air he is a great reader of the game in defending, but lacks height in aerial duels - very experienced though Mori has done a good job for us today in the first 20 minutes his passing from the back was brilliant , but as always we do not score !
He won his fair share in the air today as well;)

Not at first of course, but as much as I like Mori I reckon we'd have turned a couple of draws into wins over the last few games with somebody like Dann in the side in Jagielka's absence. Mori is sound though, he'll be boss in time.

There was a Howard moment to cherish but it was made by their goalie. I know the ball was wet but he should
have caught it.

Howard's awfullness is not a regular thing but happens when you start to think that he is ok after all.
