Begovic I would have potentially gone for before his move to Chelsea, as he looked confident at Stoke. After this season I'm not so sure.

Personally, if it has to be a PL player (which people seem to be focusing on) then I'd go for Adrian, as Butland will be out of the question.

Big, commanding, good reflexes and happy to come off his line. He's certainly performed well against us each time we've played West Ham.

Don't really think he's worth what he'd cost either, though. West Ham aren't going to want to let him go unless they've got someone better lined up, and if that happens I'd much rather see us go after the guy who's better.

Different strokes and all that. I've never been impressed with him and nothing I've seen this season has changed my mind, but I could understand someone else viewing it differently. Leicester probably has no interest in selling him any time in the near future, so it's probably moot anyway.

For sure. No chance we'd get him anyway.

I've followed him pretty closely over the years. Always been a fan. Even in his Notts County days!

This is my problem with the people who think Howard is the worst goalkeeper in the league. They genuinely think someone like Schmeichel or Pantilimon or Begovic would improve us, when it's really not the case. We need a top end goalkeeper to match our ambitions, not a mediocrity.

they would improve us, no doubt, they're miles better than howard, but your second point is right also. There's nobody in the prem realistically that take us to the next step - we need to look around europe.

If we are buying a keeper and that's a BIG if it will be an understudy to Robles.

We are as likely to get Butland as Chelsea getting Stones. Why would they sell to us now? Why would he come to us when there are plenty of sides who need a keeper, bigger sides, and he knows it.

Would take a punt of the Dnipro keeper for 3-4m without any doubt, form in Europe alone suggests the step up in league may not be too much to handle, IS he the answer - God knows, but won't get a better chance of fixing the position for that type of money - at least he is physical and vocal and can catch a ball lol

The fact that people on here actually complained about the goal allowed this weekend..... Have a look at the goals Lloris, De Gea, Schmeichel, and Mignolet let in. The amount of fume on here would crash the servers.

Haters should just forget about it till next summer or when howard contract runs out there's no point 'campaignin' for a new goalkeeper. Btw butland is overrated tripe look how good begonic was at stoke, fed up with English hype
