Butland much like Howard has been asked to save a LOT of shots this season. Butland and Howard are joint 3rd in the league having faced 80 shots on target each. He's got the second highest save percentage in the league though (Cech is 1st). Howard is 7th which isn't terrible, but Butland has been on another level this season.

Butland?! LOL at the idea of us spending £20m on a keeper. Not happening.

Robles deserves a proper run in the side before we commit to buying a new no. 1 anyway. He's done nothing to suggest he isn't up to the job.

We are as likely to get Butland as Chelsea getting Stones. Why would they sell to us now? Why would he come to us when there are plenty of sides who need a keeper, bigger sides, and he knows it.

This is my point especially in January. No prem club is selling us a starting keeper midseason. Even in the summer stoke will tell us to do one as we did with chelsea, West brom did with spurs,etc. Best off looking outside the prem for a keeper in the summer

I would agree with you but there a possibility he is not as good as everyone is saying I just find the praise bit Harry kane esque hype machina if you know what I mean. But yeah butland won stoke so many points this season
