Tim Howard

Ruddy, Elliott, Stekelenburg, Schmeichel, Guzan, Fabianski, Begovic, Krul. I'd argue that all of them have performed worse this season, and most of them are quite possibly worse in terms of their actual present level of ability.
The problem is with the exception of Elliott, Ruddy and maybe one or two others the argument can easily be made that Howard has been worse than them. I'd really prefer if Everton's goalie was clearly at least top half of the league

I'm not sure you can make that argument without talking more about how Howard looks in goal instead of how he actually has performed. Almost all of the criticism around here has to do with how he makes star jumps and closes his eyes and looks afraid to come out for crosses. He definitely looks sillier than, say, Schmeichel or Stekelenburg when he concedes a goal, but the thing many people around here fail to notice is that he concedes less often even though he faces more shots.

This is true this, no matter how good or bad they are themselves, keepers in awful sides will always perform badly.

That's not necessarily true. Butland and Myhill are having pretty good seasons, I think, and are probably the biggest things keeping Stoke and West Brom out of the relegation zone. David Marshall did quite well for Cardiff when they were having one of the worst Premier League seasons ever.

Yeah, sometimes lower table keepers actually look better than they are because they have more opportunities for a lot of difficult saves. Also, with constant action they may find a rhythm.

Sadly I don't agree. All of those keepers you mention are what I'd call normal. They do the normal things a keeper will do. Of course they make mistakes. Even Neuer does. All keepers do.

Tim Howard isn't normal though. He's below par.

As for having Schmeichel on that list, he's been fantastic.

While I haven't seen all these goal keeper's performances
And I doubt you have

I can tell you 100% had begovic performed as bad as Howard mourinho would have bombed him out of the team and criticised him in the press
Not say what a great character he is and his own performance doesn't really matter lol

Well this is just wildly incorrect. Butland this season and whilst he was at Birmingham, Foster at Watford, Carson at Birmingham, Marshall at Cardiff... list goes on. The more shots they face, the more confident they get since their concentration levels will always be at a maximum unlike top keepers who could face two shots in 90 minutes.
