Why? Was anything untrue in that statement? Other people around here have said that they won't ever trust Howard in goal again. That's fine. It's going to take more than one good performance against a bad team for me to trust Robles again.

I certainly wouldn't be upset if Howard is dropped. I don't really know what's going on off the pitch, but he certainly seems like his confidence is shot at the moment and some time out of the limelight might do him good. It might do the opposite, though, and I think Martinez knows the personalities involved better than I do. I certainly respect the decision not to give Robles the start based on one performance.
 
Chelsea can drop the pfa player of the year , but we wont drop a veteran goalkeeper ,say's it all really.

Chelsea have an expensively assembled squad of quality players to choose from should any of them need replacing, we've got Robles as Howard's understudy.

It's not comparable in the slightest.

What, the keeper who was a complete breathe of fresh air in goal last Season whilst Howard was injured and got 3 clean sheets in a row, something Howard couldn't muster up? That Robles?
