Tim Howard

Oh no someone's got a different opinion to you. You tell me one player who's made more individual mistakes than Howard over the last few years?

Wouldn't bother mate.
LOOOOOL oh my, remember that, those two Demba Ba goals? Funniest pieces of goalkeeping I've ever seen. Remember the final day of that season when he spilled a pearoller of a shot into Mata's path?

My favourite Howard moment was when he sat down to let Aguero score at the end of the 13/14 season though, and when he dived about 48 years too late for Dzeko's header. I'll definitely forgive him for those moments, he rescued humanity there

The Newcastle game was ridiculous, played well enough to win that 5 times over. Then Distin and Howard happened. Equaliser came from a long ball from their box bounced straight through then Howard came halfway and star jumped.

For me the Anfield derby last year was criminal. Gerrard's free kick ended up mid height in the middle left part of the goal. Howard at full stretch could only get half a hand on it. Was miles away from the top corner. Then there was the palace game at home last season when he just completely missed a simple catch.

Don't mate, it makes me angry just even thinking about how many times he's cost us.

He's been our first choice goalkeeper for years and for me it says a huge amount that the two best goalkeeping performances in my opinion in that time are Mucha against Man City and Joel against Crystal Palace.

hahahahaha he nearly cost us 2 goals in the first 10 by dropping the ball inside the 6 yard box, only to be saved by stones & Jagielka. Mucha made 2 half decent saves against City that was it.

A genuine suggestion? I imagine you mustn't have had somebody close to you suffer from dementia have you? Have some tolerance and think about what you're writing to somebody on an Internet forum about football when someone's just sharing their opinion. Don't joke about things like that, mate. It's not funny whatsoever.

Can you recall the Spurs game about 30 days ago?

Dead right.

He is on the skids. Coming out with his feet to block attackers as if he was playing in a sunday morning pub league and staying on his line even if the centre is right in front of him are big defects and typical of a keeper who is on the decline.

I can't believe how many points he cost us last season and we can start the tab this season with the two points dropped against LFC.

That sums up what I was feeling at the time in the derby. I didn't know what the hell he was thinking.

And that time he wandered out of the goal against Sunderland last season, or did something odd like that, and we got away with it and he just laughed it off whilst we were in the middle of one of our worst seasons in a few years. Can't remember the incident exactly, but I think it's an example that shows he is in too much of a comfort zone and probably feels undroppable.

The argument 'but Joel is not better' is not an argument for keeping Howard as our first choice keeper. So he's the better of two extremely poor keepers (and I'd even debate that). Ship them both out and sort out a premier league standard first choice keeper befitting of a team who want to get top 4.

What was that game he came out his area, only just realised too late he couldn't pick the ball up, so fell on the ball without using his hands and managed to get it away and passed it off as some great keeping. It was one of the most embarrassing things I've ever seen from a top flight keeper.

Hahahahahahahaha Christ, I forgot that

Haha! I'd forgotten all about that. Absolute clown.

liked by a poster who says Joel is Better, standard.

There's actually so many other things he's gotten away with that people forget about. I think a season defining moment in 13/14 was definitely Gareth Barry coming to the rescue against Chelsea after Howard had decided to pass to Schurrle inside his own box
