Anybody who is happy with Tim Howard as our keeper must be happy with midtable mediocrity. Great goalkeepers win you games.

In our case it could be said Howard has lost us games on the basis you describe.

He's been a liability most of the season and I can't see that changing while he remains our first choice keeper. I'm still fuming that he was brought in for Robles last week. And he should have saved that goal.

I've even considered getting my dad a Robles shirt as a joke (his name is Joel and he knows absolutely nothing about football/soccer)

Yes at least he was on his knees v Chelsea when it went in at the near post, better than being on his backside I suppose!

Yeah absolutely. We should now start to look for long term replacements, but he's nowhere near as bad as people make out imo. He needs to start playing consistently well, like Jagielka has started to, but I don't think it will mean people stop berating him. After all, he was absolutely superb last season and people seem to still think he has never been very good.

Maybe ive got it all wrong like

TBH at 35 years old in goal - to play in the prem you have to be world class like Big Nev or Nigel Martin - TH form has slipped this season and has never been a world class Keeper imo a very good keeper , and thats all!
He did not deserve the divine right to be be picked at Chelsea, - when Robles had a very good run with good stats it sent out the wrong type of message to players like Barry who is also having a worse season than TH!
