Robles has dozon of chances after he joined and he did not impressed me even once. I think the best solution is to sign a new keeper as competition and replace Howard eventually.

howard needs to be replaced now. no eventually about it, last season was a one off, i wouldn't trust him as a backup tbh. robles has had about 5 games, not exactly a dozen chances. he's so many years away from his peak, remember everyone calling for united to get rid of de gea? he was of a similar age and making much worse mistakes.

he needs to be on loan for a while and then make the decision. i'd expect a keeper in their early 20's to be making the odd mistake, but howard's at the age where he shouldn't be making the mistakes he has done this season.

De Gea is younger than Robles.

That's mean we have to sign a new keeper now as we can't rely on Robles. I have made up my mind on Robles though.

Ok he might be young but Robles is more of a Simonsen than a De Gea.

On howards form this season I don't feel he would have changed the situation at all in the last two games,not that I'm a fan of Robles!

this is how i feel. regarding what moomin is saying about carrol, howard is utterly terrible at crosses, one of the worst in the league. joel's a big lad and in pre-season's i've seen him look confident in coming out and collecting the ball. think it may be a tad bit of lack of confidence to why he is punching, but he does put himself a bit more than howard.
