He's not the sole culprit, is he - we all know that. But because of his position, we identify failure with him.

The bloke simply isn't good enough for a trophy winning side.

For the love of Jesus, won't someone find us another West or Martyn or whoever (not Southall - that doesn't happen to us twice in a hundred years.)

I hope if we go out a get a keeper we spend big, none if this cheap options to cover us for the next six months

yeah, this is what i want, but i know there won't be much money available in jan. if there's bargains to be had in the summer that arean't available now i'd rather we wait 6 months.

i hope the stories about al habsi aren't true, but then again, he's still actually better than both the keepers we have now. if he comes in now, i hope to god we buy a proper keeper in the summer and he can be backup. shift howard off to MLS and send robles out on loan for a few years then re-assess on him.

Might not have with a decent keeper.

nah, even with the luck with malouda, they would have scored eventually in extra-time. this was moyes' everton, they craped themselves whenever they were in touching distance of achieving something. that team would never have beaten united AND chelsea at wembley on pens.

We'll never know mate. He still should have saved that though!

Unfortunately we only got Robles as understudy so Howard will always going to play.

we got him for the future as well given his age. in my opinion he's just too young with too much to learn to be our backup. he needs to be playing regular footy in the championship or something. a large majority of evertonians will always think he's tosh because of the first impressions he's given everyone.

Robles won the FA Cup, he's obviously good enough to win a trophy. God knows how!!
