Very impressive improvement given the fact we play out from the back far more.

He really seems to have relished all the changes, hope he goes on to have a great world cup

i can believe that, given howard's performances this season. he was utterly woeful last season, thought it was over for him, but he's enjoyed his best season with us just now, best season by a mile imo.

the only mess up i can remember was at home vs chelsea when barry did that block. he's started to look more commanding from crosses as well. iffy about the 4 year contract, but looking at the shape of him, there's no reason to say he can't go beyond that. friedel is still very good into his 40's, must just be something about USA keepers.

Wonder how he and Robles will be used next season? Will Howard take the league games whilst Robles get the European and cup matches? Other clubs tend to use two goalies if they qualify for CL or Europa. If we do do that then it'll give us a chance to have a proper look at this Robles lad because he'll get a good amount of games. Howard is still my undisputed no.1 for now though, he's definitely had his best season for awhile. Still a few mistakes here and there mind, not nearly as many as 12/13 though.
