Men in Blazers (and excellent US podcast) had Howard on their December 4 pod to discuss talking on TV and other things. He starts talking to Rog and Davo somewhere around 50 mins.

For those who don't think he's any good, who in the prem would you take ahead of him?

5 clean sheets in the last 7. Saved our bacon in the Arsenal match, and its not like we are keeping 10 men back to help him out or anything. Yes he's not very good on corners, but often gets no help from the players around him. Stops 1 v 1s as well as anyone in the world which given our style we gonna give up plenty of those. Also has a few assists with his long outlet throws.

At this moment, only a handful. In previous seasons there where times I'd have been more confident with Stevie Wonder in goal.

He's a contender for player of the season. Good on him. Hopefully he'll maintain it.
