Its a hell of a stretch from "has been below par for a couple of seasons...and has flaws" to "awful keeper in the main"...

Keepers are held to ridiculously high standards. He is definitely deserving of that shirt right now...thats for sure!

Comes across as a great guy. We must have one of the soundest teams in the league.

He's not an awful keeper at all (And that's coming from someone who does not rate him highly) but he has shown periods when he has made awful mistakes. But overall he's a good keeper, very good pro and a evertonian so can't complain. Eventually the day will come when we will need to replace him with a better keeper, but that'll still be hard to find.
