Hey Chico, is this a Tim Cahill piece or an episode of "Wish You Were here"?

Nah mate boss write up and probably conveys the feelings of a lot of us on here.

I honestly thought Tim would retire with us. I don't even cry at funerals, but there were a few tears shed the night he left NEA. The only other player leaving the club that game me that kind of feeling was when Dunc went to Newcastle. I was a bit too young to remember the teams of the 80s, which means that my favourite Everton player is our Timmy.

Would love him back at the club in some capacity in the future. Imagine him working with the kids telling them what the [Poor language removed] we're about. He'd also be an idol to a lot of the young blues coming through in the next 5-10 years the way Dunc is for he current crop

Great piece Chico!

Two favourite moments of Cahill - the bicycle kick at Stamford Bridge - I was in line with the 18 yard line in the West Upper - place went mental when he scored, blues everywhere leaping about, and most favourite his goal at the Anfield Road end in the FA Cup - so many great moments!

He's got a legit shot at MLS MVP. If Cahill and the redbulls can get 3 points on matchday 34 they will take the supporters shield.

Brought a tear to my eye reading that.

Cheers luds.

Chico.. I've never been able to put into words like you just did, my intense man-love for Tim Cahill. Absolute cracker of a write up made me tingle and everything. Thanks mate.

Doubt it. Other players (Magee) have meant more to their team. He does have a shot at Best XI though.

Wonder if he'll be loaned out to somebody in the Prem? He could do a great job for one of the lower-end teams tbh.
