I'm happy playing an even playing field where I've got the same chance as anybody else. It's just not clear to me this has been that - and it's one of those moments in time that can't be replicated, isn't it? You're either there or you're not.

I was in the ballot for 1 x ticket and it appears i have been unsuccesful (forever + member).
If tickets were sold today, how has that happened, i should have had one, or is dementia setting in?

Say, 100 people put North Lower first preference then South lower second preference and there were only 25 in North Lower and 25 in South Lower that would mean 50 not getting tickets. Even though, there could be 100s of tickets available in North Upper and South Upper for instance and more in other areas.

The balloting system is a farce, and was for the Southampton game, and it is made worse with preferences.

There was the checkbox asking you if you'd accept other places in the ground, which I said I would.

What it really needed was a "don't mind, just try and fit me anywhere" choice. I'd have put that as my primary selection.

They should at least have the curtesy to tell me I've been unsuccessful.

But surely they have software to maximise seating. The vagueness of the areas you selected, plus the back up option should mean only a few would fall into this category. If they haven't, it's scandalous!

Absolute joke all this. How can people who paid £60 to go into the ballot, not hear anything at all and likely not been successful, yet people who have the free membership pick up tickets this morning. So poor.

Reading the information on these pages, would suggest that the system wasn't up to allocating tickets properly in the first palce, never mind looking for other places in the ground for those who couldn't get first and second preference.

Im not sure I wou dare atm to be honest... this mess might now extend to ST holders, but could work out favourable if Everton duplicate my ticket and pay me twice
