Ticket poll for Brighton

I'm a Forever Blue member (not plus) and the Brighton game showed up as available just after 10:00 am. So I managed to buy a ticket for the North Stand upper!
Sounds like you're better off not going in the ballot as long as you can get in first thing the queue for the resale...especially once the initial mad rush for the opening half dozen games is out the way.

You also know where you are too instead of not knowing if you should queue for the resale or whether you dont have to and you just haven't been informed of your (successful )ballot result yet.

🤔

So much for telling Forever Blue+ members whether they were successful or not in the ballot before the resale window opened...

  • The ballot will then be drawn, and successful supporters will be contacted on the Thursday afternoon with confirmation of their seat details and a notification that a payment has been processed.
  • Unsuccessful applicants will also receive a notification and will have the opportunity to purchase tickets via Resale should they become available. If the initial ballot allocation has sold out, the Resale window will open from 10am on the Friday, allowing Forever Blue+ and Forever Blue Members to access tickets listed by Season Ticket Members unable to attend the match.

I haven't heard a bean... looks like our family won't be there.

So I’ve been charged twice yesterday afternoon and apparently have 2 tickets in 231 and 235 blocks .. but no confirmation.

Didn’t think you could have 2 tickets against one ForverBlue+ membership and customer number.

See both charges

Farcical, as ever.

There still appears to be tickets available on third-party, unofficial, sites. How?

Talk of duplicated tickets to members.

Forever Blue+ members not communicated whether they have been successful (notwithstanding the apparent monies taken or tickets showing up in account) and have now missed opportunity to grab any on re-sale where Forever Blue members have been able to.

I'm the same, got 3 tickets in 229 & 3 in 231, currently on hold trying to get through to box office trying to cancel 3 of them and get refund. been on hold for nearly half an hour now.

I think I'd be more sanguine about it if I hadn't purchased Forever Blue+ membership as soon as it went on sale for all four of us, and entered the ballot as soon as it opened.

I've done everything I can to give the kids the best chance I could of being there for Brighton, but the club not telling me whether or not I was successful in the ballot has meant I've missed out on getting anything this morning.

So these apparent duplicates that people are reporting. If it’s not a glitch and there are tickets still available out there, how will they now be dispensed?

Resale platform or to Forever Blue+ members, general sale?

I don't think it was the ST resale this morning. It looked like sale of seats not taken in the ballot (all the available seats appeared green to me - the resale ones are usually a pink/purple colour).

Therefore it looks like the ballot was either either undersubscribed and/or people intentionally (or perhaps unintentionally) opted out of going for seats outside their 2 preferred options using the check box on the ballot to do so.

Or, should have added, the club have massively messed it up.

According to Everton's timetable, it should be the resale window.
